Whippets passion
I started showing dogs when I was just 12 yrs old, 50 yrs ago
I bred my first litter when I was 16 yrs old and had my first judging appointment when I was 19 yrs old
My first breeds were GSD,s and Golden Retrievers but somehow they did not quite fill me with joy
As a young child I had a whippet x labrador and my Grandfather bred racing greyhounds so I thought I would have a whippet,as a companion,not for show but to accompany me horse riding
She was brilliant and stayed with me everywhere I went on horseback
This little girl found her way deep into my heart like I never expected
My friend show,s borzois and when she saw my little whippet she said oh you must show her,so I did with great success
After this she became my foundation bitch for the Doddridge Kennel
She produced 3 litters with Crufts qualifiers in every litter
She is Great Grandmother to these beautiful puppies
The puppies have her wonderful temperament,full of life and oh so much character and loving beyond belief
These puppies have been reared in the family home with all the noise that entails and also with our 4 cats
